SILENT ART AUCTION
PROXY BID INFORMATION
Here are the details for OFF-SITE Proxy Bidding on the Wonder Woman Day Art Auction.

The Silent Art Auction will take place the day of the event.
You need NOT be present to win, however, your bid must be on the bid sheet either through an agent on-site or through Proxy Bidding as follows:

Proxy Bids will be accepted
from noon (PST) Monday Oct. 23rd to midnight (PST) on Saturday October 28th.
*NO* further Proxy Bids will be allowed on Sunday, October 29th.
*NO* Proxy Bids will be taken by phone. Do NOT call.

When an item closes, the highest amount bid for an item (assuming it meets minimum bid) by either a person/agent on-site or through Proxy Bid will be considered the winner.
Although we have no legally-binding bidding clause, remember that this is a CHARITY event, so stiffing your bid will bring nothing but bad karma!

To submit a Proxy Bid, follow these steps to the letter:

#1 - Emails must have a subject line of "WWD Proxy Bid - Artist Name"
[example: WWD Proxy Bid - Adam Hughes"]

#2 - Emails must include within them the Artist Name. Please specify which piece in the case of artists who provided more than one piece.

#3 - Emails must include Full Name and working Phone Number of Bidder. All bidders must be over the age of 18 years of age.

#4 - Emails must include the Bid price offered. Unless you submit a further bid, this will be considered the final bid price offered.

#5 - IMPORTANT - All items which need to be shipped will be assessed a $20 shipping and handling fee for US shipping. A higher amount may be assessed for foreign shipping. There is no extra charge if you plan to pick up your item at Excalibur Books in Portland Oregon.

#6 - When auction ends, if you are the winner, you will be contacted by a representative from the auction and one of the two charities. You will need to pay with a credit card or debit card. Because the bill comes directly from a 501(c)3 charity, you may consider any amount paid to be tax deductible.

If you've read these instructions, you may email your Proxy Bid here.

Approximately 2/3 of the art has been professionally matted by Jason Jones and Aeroframe Gallery in Oregon City.
If you'd like to know if the piece is matted, please email here with questions.
To date, only the Joseph Linsner piece has been fully framed, but this may change.
