In 2006, DC Comics debuted its third relaunch of the Wonder Woman series with an all-new creative team and a slightly-modified costume. The series was initially plagued by delays, but eventually settled into a regular publishing schedule, and a steady tenure under writer Gail Simone from issue #13-44. After much fanfare, the series was renumbered as of #45 with issue #600, and a new costume for the character was introduced along with a new creative team. The new costume received massive publicity — mostly negative — but was used until the end of the series, in 2011, at which point, the series was relaunched yet again with another new costume.
